Loving Hilltop Ranch – A Terrific Piece of Texas History

The “Loving Hilltop Ranch” has been part of Texas history for over 150 years!  This hunting/recreational/cattle ranch is located just south of the community of Jermyn in Jack County.  The ranch is characterized by large mesquite flats, huge elevation changes and dense hardwood cover.  The view from the highest elevation on the ranch is gorgeous.  The elevation from FM 1191 to the top of the mountain range that runs through the ranch is about 225′.  On a clear day the visibility must be close to 50 miles.  The hunter will certainly appreciate the very dense hardwood cover on a majority of the ranch.  There are two gates to enter the ranch.  One on FM 1191 and one on Highway 114.  There is co-op electricity on the ranch and several water wells on neighboring ranches.  The opportunity to build your dream home or just a small cabin for the weekend is offered on many places on this historical ranch.  Graham is only about 20 minutes, Dallas about 2 hours and Wichita Falls about an hours drive from the ranch.  The beauty of this ranch is hard to explain in words.  If you are interested in a large ranch with a distinct piece of Texas history attached, give us a call and come out and view it for yourself!
